Alternate Weapons for Alternators!

Recommended Posts

So you know how our favorite robots in disguise sometimes swap out their hands for various weapons- Jazz w/ grappling hook, Prime w/ Axe, Megatron w/mace, Hot Rod w/a spinning blade-  I always thought this was such a cool feature...

Well, I got my alternators Wheeljack a few weeks ago and I noticed his left hand was loose, which allowed me to pop it out pretty easily...  So I went to a pile of Microman 2004 accessories I had and I came up with a hand attachment for ole' WJ with two configurations-

1. First is a claw for handling delicate experiments and operations.

2. Is a buzzsaw attachment for cutting through obstacles.

Also pictured is his new welding gun also from Microman 2004.

What do you all think?  I think they work well and if you already have some microman stuff you should see if you have anything that looks good on your alts.  The smaller ballsockets on TF and Microman are all the same as well and the 5mm pegs on TFs and Microman.

take care,

I like the chainsaw the most, would like to see that on Hound.

I like it!  They suit him perfectly!

That is cool as hell!  Great use of other toys!

Cyclonus X and me had a pretty cool thread on other stuff to use with Alternators...

Here's the thread:

Thats a nice thread Squall-  I missed it (I don't read the boards regularly) but I have definitely done the same type of thing-  I'll snap some more shots today of what I have for you all to see.

Unfortunatly Hounds hands don't attach the same way as wheeljacks-  but my hound is armed with a set of weapons from www.jd-p.net.
