Bought a cheap diecast wrangler.  took the hard top, chopped it, and give it to Alt Hound.  All it needs is to glue it in place.  Fits pretty good I guess.

Was that cheap diecast made by smart toys limited? if so I'm doing the same to my project and I had to cut about 1/16 to 3/32 out the width of mine to get it to look right, yours looks dang near perfect from the pics

^yes it is smart toys limited.

 

The back fits perfect, but the front (the front piece I cut out) is a tiny bit too wide.  I can live with it though :D

 

The other problem I have is that I must trim the black lining on Hound's door for it to open.

 

Some minor adjustment is needed, but overall it's pretty good.

 

The diecast also includes clear plastic windows.
