Yeah, but it's still a variant combiner bot that'll be worth a bunch in a few years when Hastak only releases Energon Prime clones and the like and and starts calling them combiners :tflaugh1

Happy now?  :thumb  :tfevil

... I really think Tak still has a head above Hasbro in, if anything the quality of their presentation. Like the G1 repaints, tak included a backstory and everything. If hasbro didnt give their con/exclusive figs in crappy plastic happymeal bags, i might acually find this promotion worthwile.

So, you want to pay for better packaging? Just my opinion or preference, but I'll say this. I collect the toys, not the packages. I know some people keep theirs sealed, but that's not important to some.

The 'bot look nice. BUT I would like it to be boxed or carded. That way the $40 would not hurt that much. BTW, I know about the other membership benefits. I am just making a constructive comment. ;)

Oh I agree. A plastic bag is a bit pathetic when it comes to exclusive packaging. My thoughts were that Sentinel Maximus' box wasn't all that impressive, so I doubt we're missing out on all that much. I don't think they had a lot of time to get this one ready. I'm not an expert on all that it takes to get these toys done and have packaging made too, but I'm guessing that some of the process may take a while. I know from what they said, they would rather have had this one be a remold too, but they just didn't have the time. Maybe we'll see improvements with toy #2. I'm just trying to stay positive about things, because negativity really sucked the fun out of the last club, by both fans and operator.
