Whooaaaaa... this is too great.. wheeljack is one of my favourite G1 character.. I did wish that takara made it better than alt, and this is MUCH BETTER... :thumb

Yeah I saw that right away. Doesn't look like anyone else is noticing it. Although the blue eyes and the silver head look good they tottaly crapped out on the arm paint apps.

u guess i'm just one of those that are just happy with what they get and doesn't worry about the little details, i like my alts just the way they are out of the box.....minus the stickers i added to meister, and soon tracks

the head is indeed at a different angle, the box one has it at a lower angle.

About the forearm paint jobs.... well, i ok with it. doesnt take too much away from WJ unlike the eyes =D

I wouldn't say "crapped out"... I'm not a big fan of the black paint on Alt Wheeljack's forearms.

 

The head looks totally sweet though. Makes a huge improvement to the whole figure IMO.

 

And a chromed engine? They did that for the Viper bros. but not for Wheeljack? WTF?

wheeljack HAS a chrome engine as you can see in the 2nd pic =) and i agree with you on the arms and head. The missing of the black paint isnt a big deal, but the silver head is a MAJOR improvement =D

A chromed engine?  I will say that BTs are better for that kind of thing, the die cast body panels don't impress me as much.

 

Hasbro didn't even paint Alt Wheeljack's engine.
