Way of the Lego?

Recommended Posts

The ONLY way I'd buy a lego Transformers thing is :

1)if the small cars were in scale with the people, and you'd only have to assemble certain parts on them.

2)All TFs were in scale with the lego people, and had custom parts so that they didn't look like crap.

3)  Bases like Metroplex had a lot of parts, and were complicated to build.

4)  Everything looked good in both modes.

5)  Most importantly, they DIDN'T LOOK LIKE BTR!  :tflaugh

Although, I'd seriously like to see a G.I Joe Vs. Transformers sub-line...in fact, I've actually been planning on doing a few sketchs combining TFs and G.I. Joe to see what I could come up with...

But, the only downside I can see is with Transformer vehicles designed to hold 3" or so figures, they'd have to be freaking big and/or hollow.

Aoi

I have to admit, Animorphs didn't do as well as it should have, but it definitely had potential.

As for the Actionmaster thing - I am one of the few people who actually liked that line. Granted that the vehicles the figures came out with was somewhat cheesy, and the whole Actionmasters line was a KO of M.A.S.K. - what should have been done for Actionmasters is that you have a vehicle like an Alternator that provided a realistic vehicle mode, an intermediate mode, and a robot mode, which would include a figure (like the size of Energon Kicker) which would interact with the vehicle and the figure itself would have accessories like a G.I.Joe figure would have . I think this would have worked and the vehicle wouldn't have to be hollow; I am trying to see if Kicker would sit well with Alternator Hound...

First, Kicker is way too big for Alts... even old MASK figs are a tad too big...  :tdown

On the other side, I personally think it would be really cool to have big, bulky, hollow-ish TFs scaled to fit G.I. Joes, especially if they could keep them simple enough to be cost effective at $20 and $30 price points, with only a few at the $50 range.  It would be a different twist on TFs, that's for sure.  Especially as a side line, and not the main cash cow line like Energon or Cybertron.  :thumb
