There has been no confirmation or denial as to that yet.

All we know right now is that Galaxy Force is not connected to Superlink.

Unicron is all and well with me, but I would really like to see some new villians start showing up. Even the original comics came up with new ideas, such as the Mechannibals. Having the same characters doing the same thing (Decepticons steal energy, Autobots protect humans, unicron eats everything) is getting boring. Even the Japanese animation series for TF had better plot lines.

Actually it is if you read Hasbro's tech specs for Cybertron.

Then again, wasn't Hasbro gonna try to connect it to the other shows? But Takara was trying to make it a new continuity or something? It's a stretch if you ask me.

I think Unicron is a tired theme now. Give him the millenium off, and try a new villain. Liege Maximo from G2 is something I would LOVE to see, among other things.

If you are talking about Armada, Takara wanted it to be part of the G1 continuity., but Hasbro didn't. Galaxy Force is maybe loosely tied to Superlink, but it looks like Cybertron will be a continuation of Energon.

I don't really care, to be honest.  I may have watched 5 episodes of energon, and none of the second half of Armada.  If the show is on at a reasonable time and decent, I don't care who is in it.

Takara Wanted Armada to tie in with G1, but they lost that argument.

I don't really care about the show, period. I won't watch it because Hasbro will screw up the dub, we all know that. I just have no interest in these new shows because they suck horribly, and they do nothing to make sure they're remotely decent.
