Take your pick

Personally I think some are tough to figure out. For instace Star Saber got splattered by Lio kaiser but then splattered when combined with Victory Leo. Overlord and Ginrai have the same problem. I guess it depends on the eye of the beholder.

I still haven't made up my mind. I'm hoping some of you can convince me with your arguments.

I say G1 Optimus Prime and Megatron. They were always very careful in G1 to never make it seem like one of them was stronger than the other. At least that was the impression I got.

Depthcharge vs Rampage gets my vote.  The two of them were both massive Transmetal, both sea creatures, and one could only defeat the other by killing himself, too.

Close seconds are G1 megs vs optimus, and TM2 Op vs Megs

*Potential Spoiler, I guess*

I picked Headmasters Blaster vs Soundwave aka (bad dubs) Billy vs

Soundwave because they both died aproximately the same time, so

there was no real winner.  It was a draw.

I haven't seen a lot of the match ups listed, so I went with Depthcharge vs Rampage.

That's why I went with such a broad choice selection (altough it turned out broader than I tought it would).

Everyone has to had seen at least one or two of these matchups.

I personally went with Cyclonus vs. Ultra Magnus. Both were second-in command of their respective factions, both were reserved as far as their personalities go, and they could both kick ass when they got pissed!

Depthcharge/Rampage.  Had to go to the ultimate level to finish it.

Geewun Prime and Megs.. mostly cuz they seemed like they have just about the same ammount of abilities. Morningstar/Axe, big ol guns.. etc etc..

I say G1 Optimus Prime and Megatron. They were always very careful in G1 to never make it seem like one of them was stronger than the other. At least that was the impression I got.

Always seemed to me that the writers were trying to stress that physically they were identical (as far as strength, speed, etc) and the only difference between the two was compassion and honor.
