What's all the fuzz

OK, I just got BT Grimlock, and after hearing all the complaining about how hard his transformation is, I was very suprised. IMO, it's not that hard at all. I got it within a couple of minutes, without even looking at the instruction-sheets. I had no problems whatsoever with him. Ofcourse, you have to actually THINK to transform him, which might explain it, but still, it's quite easy to transform him.  So, what gives?

Well happy to hear that you did not have any problems, but for most of us the doors and forearms just seem to pop off for no reason.  They just seem very delicate. Perhaps after hearing all of other peoples complaints you were aware of what to expect and was prepared in what to do. In other words you probably learned from others mistakes  :thumb  :roll

change it back to car without looking at the instructions or losing any of the extremities ;)

hahaha yeah right... tell you what, i'll believe it when you post a video of yourself doing it about five times with out something popping off :roll  What is the big deal about people saying they can "do it without the instructions?"

I was forced to do it without instructions, perils of proto grabbing, I swore most mightily at the shoulders trying to get it back to car mode ;)

yeah i pulled an Adam Sandler, "WHY WON'T YOU GO INTO YOUR HOME!?! ARE YOU TOO GOOD FOR YOUR HOME??"

Then i yelled and tossed him on the table for later... when i came back he seemed much more responsive.... then i reattached the forearms and doors :eplus

I just transformed Wheels and Grim this past weekend and they had their arms and doors pop out! Even when I got to the second one and did the transformation correctly!

OK, One of you lend me a cam, and I'll tape it for ya. :P  And, yes, when I say I transformed it, I do mean more then once, back and forth.

Honestly, the windows of Grim occasionally do pop off, but I've yet to have found my Grimlock's arms being detached from the main body. Where exactly do you have it seperate, if it occurs with you?

Mine usually pops off at the elbow joint or where the door hinges on the shoulder.

The difficluty is not of the "I can't figure it out" variety. It's just keeping everything on (as everybody said).

The forearms have a tendency to pop off when pulling them down/out to change from car to bot.

The doors have tendency to pop off when you look at them too hard.
