guys i been doing some thinking vince dicola did the music for both movies right?

 

heres my idea for a scene that could have been in the 1986 transformers the movie

 

it would take place shortly before galvatrons attack on autobot city.

 

the survivors would be remembering optimus prime in life at his best. this flashback scene would show prime giving it his all in life 110% and beyond.

 

over time it would pretty much imply that prime had been training all his life for this fight yet to come. he would be taking what he had to start with and he would push himself harder and farther then he ever had before to reach that next level each time.

 

i think that a good song for this piece would be workout theme from rocky 4.

 

i mean think about it rocky pretty much relied on nature to toughen him up and make him stronger for the fight. while drago relied on steroids and tecknolagy to better himself. in a way it was man against machine.

 

whos to say that megatron didn't rely on whatever tecknolagy he could get his hands on to boost his agility, strength, speed, stamina and indurance. like drago had used tecknolagy and steroiods to better himself

 

im just comparing prime and megatron to rocky and drago here as they each share a certain mentality with prime and rocky being the underdog at heart

No more Vince Dicola please.  Rodimus Prime 80 hase been playing it non stop & I'm sick of it by now.  Especially DiCola's opening song for the movie (thank gosh that got trashed)

say what you want about the music guys as far as im concerned prime is the underdog of the group. it never mattered how bad and bloody the war would be raging at times  and it never mattered how high the odds were stacked against them prime would always find a way to turn it all around in the end. him and rocy were both  the kind of man who would lay it all on the line to make things right in the end and if it meant giving their life to pull it off then the man would do it no questions asked.

 

for rocky it was all about making his own peace with apollo when his friend died in the ring fighting drago. it was also about setting things right in the end when  it came to rocky putting the large punk in his place.

 

for prime it was about ending a terrible war at the the battle of autobot city.  a battle that would serve to be the final turning point of the great war.  it was also about avenging the deaths of his friends and comrades.

 

sometimes the whole emotional tone for a scene is set by whats left unsaid or set by whats not shown in a movie when it comes to a scene being cut for the rating and all.

 

from what i remember there was a scene cut at the beginning of primes fight with megatron in which a decepticon leaps at prime from behind and he catches the guy with his left arm behind his back strangeles him then rams him head first into the ground letting him slump to the floor out cold

 

its a scene like that which would have spoke all to well about primes state of mind by the time of the movie

 

me i figure something happend that caused him to go from being the honor bound warrior he was in the cartoon to being the tragic avenging hero he would be in the movie. we could have seen them explore primes darkside during that fight if it werent fo the stupid rating system they use.

 

heres my version of that scene

 

 

 

The sunlight streamed past someone standing in the shattered doorway, hiding the features in shadow, but then he saw the bright blue optics shining through the darkness, and fell back a step as Prime moved closer. Prime was more terrible than Megatron had ever seen, His eyes were burning with rage, anger, hate, malice, and sorrow.

 

So many mixed emotions, so many ways in his mind these events could have been avoided, so many things that could have been said between the two of them, so many ways things could have changed for the better. In his heart he could almost forgive megatron for his crimes. But for this there was no amount of mercy to give, no way to make amends existed for this, for these sins there was no forgiveness only judgment. All that he had to live for in life had been destroyed. His life was over. He had nothing left to lose. I have nothing left in life Megatron, you've taken everything away from me ." He thought silently to himself. "You’ve taken my friends, my comrades, my beloved, and my home from me. here and now, you will pay in full this day for your crimes against humanity and cybertron. you  will pay for all of your sins this day, the day of retribution has come . 

 

he was almost the conscience the Decepticon commander never had, almost but not quite, as Megatron's evil leer returned, visions of Prime lying dead at his feet giving him back his ruthlessness. His optics widened in shock and Surprise.

"Prime," Megatron hissed, like a cobra ready to strike. "One shall stand, one shall fall," Prime said to his life long enemy. his voice ringing in the small space as he takes his stand. in more ancient times that line would be seen as a challenge between gentlemen to a duel. Megatron clenched his fist, then thrust it to the side in a gesture of throwing something of value to the wind.

 

"Why throw away your life so recklessly?" his eyes blazing with hatred as he asked his adversary, finally voicing the one question that he had always wanted to pose to Prime, trying to figure out what drove the Autobot to a life of servitude to an unreachable ideal.  Megatron had always considered life something to be conquered, not spent trying to transcend into some ethereal state of chivalry. Not that I care, Megatron says to himself as he thinks of what he will do once he finally has Optimus out of the way, the Autobots will scatter and be easy prey, Earth will be mine as Cybertron already is he thinks to himself.

 

blitzwing takes a sneaky leap at Prime who sensed the sneak attack and lashes out at the triplechanger with his left arm behind his back , stiff arms him with a shuddering clank while chocking him, than pile drives him head first into the rocky ground letting him crumple and fall as the commando blacks out and loses consciousness.  The shadows changed, playing over the angles of Prime's hull.  "That's a question you should ask yourself, Megatron" . he rumbled, as he returned to glare at megatron straight in the eye his optics narrowing as he readied himself for the first strike. The Autobots calm demeanor in this situation proves to infuriate Megatron, how can he be like this when he is about to face his certain demise? Megatron asks himself as he began to level his fusion cannon at Prime.

 

That fool staring at me with his ice cold sapphire gaze. Before it was hard, as in all battles, but now it just made him look plain evil. Almost as though he has risen from the inferno itself. His fists are trembling in rage, as are his See-able facial features, grimacing, he was having his own war. For what, though? Megatron thought as an odd earth saying came unbidden to his mind at that moment. A man who’s lost everything is a man with nothing to lose.  So he wants to avenge the loss of alita then, he thought as he pulled it back in a last-minute change of plans.  "No! Megatron fumed “I'll crush you with my bare hands!"

 

now i substitued blitswing for the anonymous decepticon from the cut scene since he managed to avoid prime as he roared by him in vehicle mode during that scene where prime plowed right through thrust and blitswing had just managed to dodge around prime and get blown into the air. he didt get blown away like the others when primes taking potshots at them so i figured blitswing would be the obviouse choice for this scene. as for alita one having deid during the war leading up to the movie i figured if that didn't give prime enough reason to snap  then nothing would.

 

we've seen him angry before threatening even. cehck the season 2 epsidoes microbots and the search for alpha trion. to find out what i mean

 

but border line psychopath pissed as hell. thats the approach im taking with primes character here.

underdog.......hasbeen.........who cares?

 

The guy hasn't done anything substantial for 20 odd years.  If Speilberg's the producer, do you think he'll hire that guy? I think he can do much much much much better than Dicola.

 

Stop living the past.  Vince's 80s pop sucked then, and continue to suck now.

 

Check IMDB.  No offence, but if your latest work is scoring a Don 'The Dragon' Wilson film, I really don't think you are up to the standard of a speilberg movie.
