Alt Prowl!!!

Jaguaratron, out of curiosity, would it be possible design-wise to switch the legs, in order to have the alternate leg-pose, while still having the knees on the right side. In other words, to unscrew and remove the legs, and switch them around, rescrewing them, and still be able to transform it properly?

I havnt got a small enough screwdriver to do this but if you removed this screw and swapped them then it would be able to transform with the reverse legs with no detrument to the transformation process

Thanks, Jag'. I wonder, and I might rebuild it that way, for a more interesting robot-mode. But I'd first need to have the toy in my hands, to decide, ofcourse. :)

Honestly, I'm not a real big fan of this version of prowl. But after seeing the pics, I'm beginning to change my mind about this one. I might do a retro-bash just to see how he'd look and all, but truth be told, it's not as bad as I first thought.

waits for someone to change it into a g1 accurate sideswipe when it is released ( :redface)

(also am i the only one who thinks this getting repainted as redalert is lame, and since when has hasbro done something expected)

I would accept this mold more as Red alert, more than as Prowl. The only problem in painting this mold as Sideswipe is that the alt mode does not really match him. But would love to see what interesting kitbashes will be done from this mold.

And for those of you who wondered what Prowl would look like in triplicate.......

Sadly to give him proper reverse legs I would need to remove a screw that is in too tight for my meagre powers, I guess thats a job better left to a kitbasher :(

In the last pic with all three in robot mode one really notices how annoying those hood joints are. On the figure in the far left it blocks his whole face.

But congtrats in not having one, not two, but three protos of him :thumb

What about his knees? How far do they bend? Let's see some action poses!

Jags, I don't if this was answered earlier, but give us a review on those knees and legs.

I like his feet, are they posing friendly?

Sorry guys, I didn't know these questions were answered in the first post...don't I feel stupid.

Thanks for posting these pics Jags.
