Everybody knows that oil has skyrocketed and it doesnt show any signs of going down anytime soon.  High oil prices means higher prices in most oil derivated products.  Plastic is one such derivate, and plastic is one of the materials our beloved toys are made of.

So my concern is if TF's prices will go higher or not?

You'll end up paying more for *everything* if oil prices stay high. I like Transformers, but it's not so high on my priority list that I worry about that more than gas, the transportation industry, or the economy in general.

:lol

Anyway, who cares about Transformers -- I'm worried about maintaining my supply of petroleum jelly.

Actually with higher prices on things like gas, we're just as likely to see prices on things like toys go down as we are see the prices go up.  They'd either have to raise prices in expectations of selling fewer items, or lower prices in hopes of keeping their products selling at the current rate......or what Madhammer said.

Transformers don't run on oil...they're toys!

...and if it gets any worse, Madhammer, don't worry cause ah got a ton o' petroleum (and othah) jellies stockpiled in mah bunkah'!

frankly, maybe hastak and other companies should look into alternative materials, as well as sythetic means of manufacturing plastics. otherwise, we could have some trouble in the wonderful land of robots!
