That Soundwave almost appears to have something sitting on his left shoulder (Laserbeak anyone??).  About time they got around to Soundwave and his minions (well, at least one so far).  Wonder why they didn't do a Soundwave in Energon?

Looking forward to the bigger pics!

Looks Distinctly like a shoulder cannon to me. Just like the original Soundwave. Look closer. It would be cool but I doubt if they even give him any Mini-con minions. I'm willing to bet Rumble doesn't attach to him either. Just like Shockblast I would also not be shocked if his personality and voice are completely different from the original Soundwave.

I can't help but ask...what personality? Soundwave's charm was the fact that he had no personality whatsoever. Even his speech has no personality. Have you ever heard him use the term "I"?

Nope, since in the rare occasion that he did refer to himself, I believe he talks in third person.

"Soundwave superior, Constructicons inferior."

"Soundwave l33t, Contructicons meat"

Reminds me of the Eggman boos from SA, but man that is one sweet ass basic!

:thumb way up for this mold.

Reminds me almost of a miniture spider cannon or whatever it was in Ghost in the shell. As a basic this is a cool as they get. wonder what his gimic is, can't see it to clearly in the pics

Soundwave also looks like he'll easily be worth the denaro this time around.

Wow, what can I say Has/Tak has all the bases covered for this outing with next to nothing craptacular for molds. :wtf am I dreaming?

Looks to me like his force chip flips somthing out of his shoulder cannon.

Yaknow, taking a better look at this, reveals how simple the transformation really is. He basicaly just stand on his hind-legs, front-legs become arms, cockpit fold down to form chest, and cannon swivels forward to become shoulder cannon. That's basically it. Really simple, even more simple then E-Ravage.

Not that it's a bad thing, it's more of a shock of seeing soething this awesome, then take a better look, and see it's slightly less awesome.

Just what the F$#! is that alt mode supposed to be. Looks like crap, IMHO.

Forest Vehicle.
