i went with G1 the few epeisodes that were 2parters in g1 are what made it gr8 you just dont get in it the newer shows ok the writers did hove alot of silly shows.

 

the first load of toys were nice but went south after the second series but thats just one of those things

 

still one good thing to come form newer stuff is the whole nemisis prime thing and better joints and transformations
