what if megatron is killed at the end of

Recommended Posts

lots of movies have the main villian die at the end. what if megatron dies in the movie? i'll be so and so about it so long as it is a decent death worthy of megatron and prime isn't the one who kills him in cold blood.

It won't happen. They've talked about sequels and you can't kill off the main TF villain in the first movie :P

Killing Megatron would bring a note of finality to the film that I'm sure the filmmakers don't want. Megatron was never killed in G1 (at least not in America), anyway.

*waits for HR's response*

They'll probably just kill Prime again :-)

here's another theory: what if they kill him off in order to revive him as Galvatron in the next movie?

Then that would be sucky storytelling. If they were going to turn him into Galvatron, it would be in the middle of a movie.

Killing off megatron wouldn't be the way to go, but a scene like at the end of "Ultimate Doom" with a nearly destroyed Megatron somewhere seemingly lifeless, and then all of a sudden his eyes glow again.. that would be cool.

But the only way a character like Prime would be involved in Megatron's death, would be

A: he is trying to save megatron from falling off a cliff and megatron tries to shister him, forcing him to drop him

B: Instant decision to save the world which would be destroyed in seconds if nothing were done

Dang, that wasn't nearly as smartass-ish as I was hoping. :redface

I'd have no problem with Prime blasting Megatron to bits. But maybe that's just the frustrated G1 fanboy in me speaking....

But the "you think he's dead but he isn't" thing works for me. :D

Cue Shockwave, for all the comic-geeks...
