Funny thing:  since I thought it was redundant for Shockwave to have a gun in his right hand, I had folded it up and used the peg on the stock to stick it to the peghole on his left arm, had no idea that I was actually powering up his gun arm.

Of course if Ravage and Shocks get destroyed, Megs and others stuck in void forever.  Unless since Megs doesn't know what the heck happened and finds a way to get back.  No Rodimus since Optimus still lives. No Wheelie! They never find him!

The events of the movie never happened, so season 3 never happened either, or atleast, never in the same manner.

 

So, no Quintessons. No Junkions. No Wheelie.

 

Sad thing, it also means no Galvatron. No Scourge or Cyclonus. No Headmasters or other -Masters. No Victory Saber, God Ginrai, or any other character of any post-movie series.

 

EDIT: Just thought of this after posting this post. If we never had a Galvatron in this new continuity, wouldn't that greatly deminish our chances on ever getting a Masterpiece Galvatron? (which is as far as I see the only reasonable leader that would fit the Masterpiece-criteria, with Megs being a gun and all).

 

I really dig this new twist on the G1 continuum, but it really messes with established continuity. Everything after Season 2 is basically deleted from history. Whatever will follow, will be totally new, yet still G1. Basically...it's everything we Transfans wanted. :P

I'm sure at some point everything will return to normal in time for the movie. They are messing with the time stream and that nevers seems to turn out the way its intended.

Maybe Overdrive the time cop will fix it.  This story a just opened whole new can of worms.  So lets recap.  Decepticons about to take over with huge army, Ravage transports Megs and half of army into void.  Autobots beat half remaining and now govern cybertron. So either Megs return before Unicron but still undermaned and can't take over or he returns after Unicron beaten by Matrix being opened and then takes over. Either way the events has drastically changed and new reality! Alright now more to debate about, just what we all need.

I feel that right before the Decepticons win...

Overdrive and Ravage will fight it out to a point or something along thsoe lines. Then time will be reset back to before the whole start of the Cosmic Rust Outbreak, and G1 will continue and the events of TF:TM/Matrix Forever will occur.
