USA Edition Cybertron Hardtop

Wow.... Wonder if we're getting a Cybertron Menasor Gestalt. :hmm

Yeah. Maybe a single combiner with 4 different limbs, and personalities to match.

That IS a remold of one of the E-Devestator-limbs! It's transformation is identical, up to the place where the arms fold in, where the feet attach, the frontwheels, everything!

Just like Alternators Meister is a remold of Smokescreen.

Or like Energon Starscream is a remold of G2 Smokescreen/RiD Smokejumper.

No matter how serious you are or aren't being, I cannot tell you the degree of my disappointment when I first compared E Starscream to G2 Smokescreen. I was so bummed out.

I heard a long time ago that a three-member Menasor team was coming, but nothing came of it. There's a Menasor on the lists, but as a Mega, I believe, so it's hard for me to see it as a combiner, unless it's possibly three basics? I dunno...

Actually...not really. Both your examples are of a totally new design, from which the transformation is based on a previous toy. This is more of a remold: Like hos Alt Silverstreak is a remold of Smokescreen. Or Dead End and Sideswipe. Or Cybershark and Hellscream.

You seriously want to tell me these two things are based on the same mold?

They share the same legs, look closely.

Not even close.

The design is as SIMILAR as Meister has a SIMILAR DESIGN to Smokescreen.

Wasn't there a big bruhaha over this already?  E Starscream uses the design of G2 Smokescreen, but they're not the same mold - or come from the same mold. Just basic ideas taken from one toy to another.

Which should be an indication for you which voices you'd better not listen to in the future. ;)

Aside from the "Menasor" listing, which came from Hydra's list.

Eh, I never bet money on this stuff, I just find it fun to speculate and look to the 'what ifs' as enjoyable to muse on.  I think too many people get to worked up at 'early info' anyway...

For me, it just trips my creative side to play with what could be, so I enjoy it from that angle.

Besides, remember, nothing is definite until it's out, and even then that's not definite. (Looks accusingly at Terranotron/Swoop).

Yeah, makes me curious - it's an odd choice for a name, and Takara is usually a lot more 'forceful' about names matching homage characters than Hasbro. Still, that's a mega price-point ainnit? Maybe he's the repaint of Optimus ... but that would be too small...

I like it...The colors are Not like Neon Orange and Neon Green with Transparent Neon Red, so, the colors don't bother me.

The only think I dislike is the back-wheels...there should be some kind of back piece or something to go between the back-wheels. Oh well...

I'll pick it up when I see it.
