For some reason, even with the rear windshield facing back, it looks better than the toy fair pics.  The black on the shin along with the black on the rest of the legs really makes it look bulkier instead of having the shins gray and the rest of the legs black.  Now I don't know which looks better, this way or the grimlock way.  They both look pretty good.

Actually, I think the new color pic looks even better than the grimlock style legs.  Correct colors sure make a difference.

Colors definitely makes a difference.  I also like how they colored his palm area black and the fingers grey.  Makes it look like he has brawling/grappling gloves on for a serious hand to hand combat beatdown.

Okay, yeah, he looks great.  I've always liked him.  BUT I am forced yet again to ask are his bloody legs THAT hard to transform correctly??  I ask, because so far no one's been able to.  Yes, they're turned the right way.  NO, those freakin' bumpers are NOT supposed to be hanging off of his hips like that!  I swear, every picture we see of this guy it's bumpers, bumpers, bumpers!

Note: If you look at the drawing it looks like they're supposed to fold forward to form his kneecaps.

some transformers have an identity crisis, others have an allegiance crisis. This one has a leg crisis!

I remember when I said that we shouldn't judge Prowl's coolness based on the ToyFair pics, and I got shat on for it.

:lol

Ah, looks like your right about the bumper becoming kneecaps.  I'd love to see how that looks.  Would definitely add even more bulk to his legs.  BTW, the original ebay pics (with the legs as how you see here-windshield facing back) has the bumpers folded down to the side of the legs where it doesn't even stick out at all.

well, I'm still a little hung up about his chest. Not that it's vertical instead of horizontal, but that somehow he doesn't look quite right. But as for his legs, I prefer the windshield side up front myself. It just looks better to me.
