ALT PROWL ON EBAY

Recommended Posts

I love it. I'm getting it.

I'd much rather have this than another Subaru Repaint!  The only "third" repaints that I want to see would be Trailbreaker and Sunstreaker.

Here's a pic of Alt Prowl where the legs seem to be properly transformed here.  The legs look much more like Alt Grimlocks leg now.  It looks bulkier here which makes it look more proportioned to the rest of his body.  Looks like he has knee articulation too.  I like it alot.

that looks right bar the crotch area maybe its needs to be twisted around like Jazz?? oh and the rear bumper looked nice when it was lying fat eather side of his legs like in the 1st pic

P.S. IMO hes one on the best lookin alt/bt's

that pick makes a world of difference

Looks good to me.  I like the bulkyness, and I'm really glad he's not a Subaru repaint.

HR`s will is faltering...... he will join the dark side soon enough.....

:mwahaha

Hot damn!  I don't care if they are backwards, that looks good!  I wasn't crazy about Prowl to begin with, but it's safe to say I am now.  Maybe there'll be a way to mod his pelvis region to be less screwy, sort of like switching SS's arms around for the chest-mod.

The only thing that worries me now are those bumpers hanging off his calves so haphazardly... there must be something you can do about that though, right?  Right?

Oh, er  :sun

First, it is indeed mistransformed. Those are the backs of the legs, not the front, though I agree it looks better this way.

Second, he has knees. Looking at the back of the toy, the knees are just visible above the edge of the car-part, rather high in the legs perhaps, but still there.

I wonder, if it is possible that the toy itself has been misassembled, and that the left and right leg have been switched, making the screwholes located at the wrong side. It's doubtfull, but certainly a possibility.

No, legs (at least the lower portion) looks like its facing the correct way, but the crotch/butt is reversed.  The screws should be facing back.  I'm sure there is a way to twist the crotch around but yet still have the legs facing the correct way.  I'm sure the legs are Grimlock style.  Also, the knee articulation I believe is actually not just above the part of the car part.  I think its in the middle.  If you look through the rear windshield, you can see where the upper legs attach to the lower leg (just like Grimlock).  This allows for the whole lower leg to be folded onto the upper leg when transforming to alt mode, but also allows for the bend at the knees (in fact, it allows for a 180 degree bend, of course since it needs to fold over in alt mode).  I think maybe the only difference between Prowls leg transformation and Grimlock's is the feet.  Prowl doesn't use his car seats for the feet.  Plus I'm sure there is a difference in transforming scheme to allow for the crotch to be facing the proper way.

I suspect from looking at the pictures that his bumper bits are actually attached on a swivel so they'll be able to fold down. But that's just my speculation.
