Has vs. Tak has been done to death. And besides, I'm a bit miffed about how much people blame and Starscream at Hasbro.

1. If it weren't for them, we wouldn't get the TF lines at all, unless we imported them.

2. US toys are far cheaper than Japanese toys, and contrary to what most Hasbro haters argue, they aren't all crappy.

3. I've heard Takara toys tend to either fall apart more easily or aren't packed very well in their boxes in some cases.

4. Hasbro has given us US exclusives, like Sharkticon, Tow-Line, and Slugslinger from Energon.

5. It's an old argument that needs to be put to sleep with a big-ass shotgun.

Oh yeah, you also forgot Transformers vs. Robotech, though that isn't brought up as often, though TF > Robotech anyday, and that's the argument I put in a vote for in other.

WTF How can Anamation and plot errors be> than a good TV Show?

Because I like robots that think and feel and have good character designs more than robots with bad designs that are all the same in appearance and controlled by humans.

I'm sorry, but I have to disagree with you on at least part of that. The character designs of the Ark-bots were waaaay simplified from the toys, and all looked the same (the infamous blocky "man in suit" look). They got better over time, though. It's just that initially Marvel was instructed to make the TFs look more "human".

But that dosn't mean its a bad show

Then again, Ironhide and Ratchet's toys were hideous, but the cartoon gave them looks that really, really need to be turned into Alternators of some sort TODAY (I love how blind Hasbro is to even considering using an SUV as a template for those two...). Anyway, my point about robots with emotions stands.

But that dosn't mean its a bad show

Not all mecha-based anime are bad. I love Evangelion, though I enjoyed seeing the robots rebel against their human creators, especially Unit-01. I love it when supposedly non-sentient robots disobey humans and break the "3 laws".
