I got my 2nd issue of TFCC yesterday and flipped to the comic right away, and one of the first things I noticed when I was reding through it- Rumble!

 

I'm assuming that the Cybertron comic is set in the G-1 continuity, so this Rumble is an alternate-universe Rumble, parallel to the one we know and love. Unfortunately, the parallel Rumble in the TFCC comic is the first casualty of RJ's and NP's killing spree. Note to future bots: NEVER talk that way to a purple-glowing bot...

Universe :eek Is this comic set on post BM Cybertron? If so its a contuiation of the 3H comix :luv :luv :luv

Well in the first, they had G1 and Armada/Energon characters in it, and suggested that the Unicrons from both continuities are one in the same. IMO, they might be trying to combine the continuities into one super-continuity, with each original continuity(G1, Armada/Energon, Cybertron) being an alternate universe. My thoughts anyway...

That wasnt Rumble. If you'll notice Crush Groove (hehehehe) calls him Jackhammer right before Nemesis Prime kills him.

 

So it's obviously a Rumble nod, but somebody else.

 

Cybertron is still after the Armada/Energon events, unless we are shown otherwise. Ramjet and Prime show up with no clue as to where they came from. However it was never told what Universe they came from to begin with. Since they do say they are heralds of Unicron and are after the cosmic energy to replace the balance. We can assume that the destruction of Unicron has caused alot of universal havoc. So they could either have always been from the Armada/Energon timeline and were in the other reality doing Unicrons will. OR they were pulled from that universe when the destruction of Unicron happened. Seeing that the results in Unicrons destruction created a all powerfull black hole and they are out to restore order. Thus bringing Unicron back in some fashion.

Well, he looks like Rumble, and that suggests that he's a parallel Rumble. Don't think every parallel Rumble would have the same name. Besides, "Jackhammer" might've been Rumble's name before he got reformatted in G1, but in this universe he might not've been reformatted, or decided to keep his original name(OR, it might be a post-reformatting name)
