Um, Well I wouldn't go so far as to say only gun Megs is the only right one, but to each his own.

 

Insanity Matrix don't be a total G1 Purist, it can cause you to skip over some really good aspects of other TF series. It is your preference to be anyway you want, I'm just saying that each series has had something decent to offer, be it comics, toys, or cartoon.

I used to be a diehard G1'er, but I opened my eyes to Beast Wars, after several times coaching myself into doing so. And since then I've come to like something from every TF series.

Yes, but let's look at this from a normal persons point of view.

 

Wookie Blaster = Looks like a space gun, in other words, it looks like a toy. It's obvious to the user, and to any law enforcement officers, that it is a toy. I have a Droid Blaster from Episode 1, and I doubt even the UK Police (Who once mistook a table leg in a bag for a shotgun) could mistake that for an actual firearm.

 

Megatron = Looks like a handgun. In other words, there is a good chance a law enforcement officier could mistake Megatron, who from a distance does look like a handgun, and gods alone know what kind of hassle that could lead to.

 

On topic? I like it. I always wanted a BatMobile transformer, now all I need is one of Sam and Max's car and we'll be laughing. :tflaugh

Here in the states, there are several people and TFans that don't want any kind of gun toys. He doesn't have to be a real gun. Make him a space gun, an alien gun, anything that isn't real so the new version would pay homage to the G1 version. How about we take Wlverine's claws alway or make Superman just a genius with no powers? Would you still look at those characters the same? And I watch the new versions of Transformers with my kids thank you. There are some cool stuff to them. Besides if people would actually raise their kids correctly there would be any issue with this. Never point anything at law enforcement officers.
