Here's what I meant about Mainframe fudging the animation for BM Megs' transformation sequence. He goes from having dragon wings in one frame to mu-mu pleats in the next. This makes a show-accurate BM Megs a bit tricky.

As if it wasn't tricky enough as it is... For a toy, they would have to use a half TM2 Megs + half Cryotek, and then give him a dumb cape and a deformed arm.

err... when I look at that, I see one TF humping another :wtf :lol

I hated how mainframe was too cheap to make a decent cgi model of BM meg's exposed robot mode so they never gave a clear picture of it. i keep thinking that mainframe was going to finally reveal it at a climatic moment but then megs old body is destroyed at the end of bm season 1 and i'm all "WTF? they can't destroy his body! they haven't shown the robot mode yet!"

Well, since BM Megatron *was* BW dragon Megs, you already know what he looked like. All Mainframe did was change the wings and give him some metal parts. BM Megatron's robot mode wasn't something you would have seen much of anyway... the point was to show him either in his control harness (concealing his real body), or in his dragon mode when he freaks out and goes RAAARRRRRRR. Megatron's nature is best visualized in that way.

I would just as soon forget the BM megs toy, teh mumu was lame...

RM Megatron has a real hand, the tail is just his shield, Plus it's more in scale with the Season 1 Preadacons :tfthumb

Yeah I know about RM Beast Megs. I would have bought him if not for the big sad frowny face...... just once I want to see an "evil smile" BW Megs. So much more fitting.

 

BTW the G1 Decepticon symbol on him is lame too.
