And...there it is.  Toxic Positivity.  Far be it for him to give a critique of the state of things.  Just buy all the slop and be grateful you have slop to buy.  Don't expect us to produce quality for your hard earned cash, don't have standards.  The problem is, people will take this advice and then you'll cry when they make nothing because they don't realize why the fan base isn't buying. The only message you send with simply not buying is "this is something you should stop making entirely"

It’s none of that. It’s a total lack of knowledge of how business works. The idea that Hasbro is trying to upset ppl on purpose is completely silly. It’s no different than clothing fashions. They are trying to appeal to different ppl who have different levels of budget and tastes. Of course they are going to miss the mark for some ppl and hit it for others. Holding them over the fire for not being 100% is not only impossible, it’s unreasonable and unfair to others who like the toys you don’t.
