on a side note

I wish VW wasnt such pricks about TF's, as war toy. I mean big wooping deal. I wouldnt have bought my yellow 2001 beetle if it werent for BB, come on VW you made like 11 grand off of me for my car. Thats the point of alts, to make us want the real car, not just to play with them like they are at war :tftongue

as far as the head, it was made from a modified smokescreen head.I thought a smiling alternator would seen kind of cheesy even though it fits bumblebees personality. I might try a different look with a smile.

 

upper torso: i like the idea of adding a little more yellow to it.

 

and i will be adding some clear windows to the side of the false chest. i like the idea of using the blue tinted plastic.

 

after looking at the pics i see that i do need to add a little yellow to the legs.

I don't think the face need to have a smile. I think a neutral, straight line for the mouth would suffice. Just so that he doesn't look angry.

Best BUMBLEBEE ever!! Would love it if VW finally hopped on the bandwagon and see one of these on the shelves. This looks absoloutely great.

LOL Thats why I had my yellow 2000 New Beetle Rat. Now I'm in a Green GTI and am crossing my fingers that VW makes a BUMBLEBEE and CLIFFJUMPER being my car in green or blue. Wonder if there's a support group for Transfans that love VW and can't get the satisfaction of seeing their favorite characters as their car? :tftongue

For the last time Rumblebee, nobody else wants to see Cliffjumper be green or blue. It defeats the purpose of doing a character that was red in the first place.

With all of the successful work being one making Windcharger gun barrels, I'd be okay if an offical Bumblebee came without a gun. If Hasbro could find a compromise with VW and get them to agree to make the toy, only unarmed, it would be just fine with me. We can always make our own weapons for Bumblebee.

I agree.

Being a spy and all, Bumblebee can do without a gun. But imho Bumblebee must be a VW.
