I don't know where this is from (it was in a random zip file somebody gave me), but the line art and colors are magnificent and I thought you guys would enjoy it. If anybody knows the author, please reply to help give them the credit they deserve.

My only gripe is that I wish it were a little more to scale.

EDIT - apparently the signature in Prime's window says Pat Lee :redface . Well it's still a great pic, but I know the "Lee" name is curse word around here for good reason.

I like it... I don't care who drew it, it's awesome! :thumb

Why doesn't anyone here like Pat Lee?

I've seen that picture about 2 years ago. and pat lee is hated because he drove that great company into the ground for poor reasons.

That was the cover of an issue of Toyfare magazine I don`t remember which issue I`d have to check my archives. I usually buy one each month this month they actually have info on the Transformers movie!

Yup it's Pat Lee's artwork for Wizard's Toy Fare. It was done right about the time the new GI Joe & ThunderCats comics were starting to come out. Also the new MOTU toyline was on it's way too. He did it shortly after getting the TF License I do believe.

I don't like it, cause the proportions on Prime's head are very wonky and way off. Look at his head carefully...Prime's faceplate is off and his nose doesn't line-up with the center of his head. I mean it's not that good of a drawing. Now the composition and the human figures are nice. Probably he had to pump this one out really quick, so it couldn't be all that great.
