I squarely blame you Eva for my squandering of even more money on a display case.

 

I just got off the phone w/ the cabinet makers and upped my order from a 48'' cabinet to the biggest one they make, 60''. Still not quite as big as yours, but I think something that will better suit my collection in the long run (and I have the feeling that I might appreciate the extra display space just as soon as I get the thing).

 

I figure that if I am spending that much money on a case, then I might as well get what I want and certainly get what I need. It would make no sense to spend that much money and then run out of display space immediately and to wish I had bought a bigger case.

 

Anyway, the grand total now is $909 to get the thing the way I want it. An extra $108 for quite a lot more space seems like a fair deal to me I think.

 

Either way, I blame you Eva for making me jealous and wanting a bigger, better display case. I wouldn't have known what I was missing out on if I had never seen yours, but I know this is the right decision.

EDIT: Oh, and what are the dimensions on that bad boy? Looks huge, 6' x 6' or something.

yup!  about 6' wide X 6.5' tall,  i just measured it right now!  one of the many problems I had when the movers came in, is that it didnt initially fit throught the main door, so they had to go around the house to move it inside.  It took awhile to place it inside, but after that I just spent the whole day on how I was gonna group them together. was also opening lot and lots of boxes, I had to resort to using nail clippers for the evil twist ties!

 

Way to go!  Good decision on getting the 5' You wont be disappointed with it, as you'll have tons of fun with it! Having more space wont hurt anyways! Better post pics once you get it XD

You should just buy a bigger display case I think, that way you can have ALL of your stuff out, hehehe.  :tflaugh

I got my movie toys! omg, ironhide is niiice! I have yet to try and tranform optimus.

 

Took off some of the re-paints (ALL XD), added my only collection of G1 and finally have space for RID.

 

I am planning on getting the same size cabinet for my other collections XD
