Seriously. Hats off to this great example of investigative journalism. :D

BTW, those who get the title might also get the meaning of my screenname. ;)

Not exacly a hard hitting expose, more like a platform for Lee.

I don't get it. What's the big deal? Or is there some INTERNET conspiracy theory about the "real" reason DW closed?

You mean aside from Pat deciding not to pay 17 (that's SEVENTEEN!!!!) employees, not telling anyone in his company about the real extent of the situation for several months, secretly moving over his assets to that "Dreamengine" thing he and his brother set up and then sending out a press release that basically says "y'know, don't worry, I'll always finds a job, and who the hell cares for all those freelance dorks I screwed anyway?"

He drew a sucky optimus anyway. Good riddens to him.

I, personally, don't buy the "Canadian Dollar" thing at all. I think they concentrated too much on Transformers when they should have had like 5 other comics to go along with TF's.

Front paged and credited! :thumb

Yeah... I just didn't keep tabs on everything. If those guys really were freelancers, then I don't see a problem with it. It's his company, and he's certainly entitled to *not* share the fact that his company might be about to go belly up before it actually happens. Not that I care either way; I just don't like to accuse someone of wrongdoing without knowing for sure that it actually happened.

Ah I missed the sarcasm tone ;) I concur entirely

Well it's official. Lee won't get back the DW TF universe. This bites. Talk about a huge waste of money buying comics just to see it abruptly end in the freakin' middle and without any warning at all.

Hopefully Devil's Due or whoever will inherit the TF license will continue on. At least a company that wouldn't be a fluke.

Will any new comics company be able to add to or continue on from the DW continuity? Is it wholly owned by Hasbro or will it go into legal limbo like it did with the old Marvel continuity?

If it cant/wont continue from DWs stuff, I simply wont bother buying a single TF comic.
