I've heard MP-1 is inWalmart! :eek Is this true? :tfhuh If you have any info would you post? :tfhuh

Not exactly. . .

What we do have is 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime, which is almost exactly the same as MP-1 Convoy, but with shorter stacks and some moderate battle damage paint apps. And yes, this is available at Wal-mart, as well as TRU, Target, and others.

Yep, 20th Anniversary Prime is being sold at Wal-Mart.

yes they are (glances at prime and he winks back)!

MPP should not be available in most large retail stores. I have yet to find one considering he is the JP Takara version and not the Hasbro version. For the brick and morter stores I've seen him at very high prices.

I saw it at my Wal-Mart for $63.99. I was going to pass on it due to the short stacks, but I think that I am going to go ahead and get it.

heres your short stack answer, buy both and do the swap a roo

i have yet to see mp prime in my wal-mart.

why on earth buy both and do the swap???

I for one am perfectly happy with owning just the japanese version.. and after you do the swap what did u do with your mp-01??

I did the swap because i bought ton of each and wanted as many versions as i can have. After i did the swap, I did the sin of all sins, I put the short stacks on my MP Convoy. Why, because i can. Personally, I think the battle damaged with long stacks is the best looking version. Im usually a Takara fan, not because i dislike Hasbro, its just that i prefer my Transformers to have working springs, and be just like they were when i was a child.
