Well HailGavlatron I think using Shockwave/blast for the Decepticon leader isn't too much of a stretch. And we have Meister/Jazz and now Prowl coming out which are both thought of as leaders either by fans or by actual tf cannon (not to mention Grimlock always trying to be a leader, I actually use him as the Decepticon leader for now since he's kind of a flopper in almost every continuity we've seen him in)

 

On another note, since we've seen some fan made transformations and I've made up a few on my own to set the remolds apart from the originals. I think this might be a good idea for hasbro to promote for their future remolds. Maybe change a few things like switch the hands around or do the custom sideswipe thing for a production model.

its funny how i can recall alot of us begging for a new mold, and then when they give us prowl, (imo not so bad) here comes all the "f*** the police" N.W.A., pig bashing type attitude.

 

 

we can't get all the nice, fresh, cool, super(whatever you say)molds all at once, it would kill the line.

Does wanting a new mold mean that we must happily accept whatever new mold they put out...even if it doesn't look up to par with the rest of the line? (in many but not all's opinions)

 

Also, we definitely cannot get all the "supercool" molds at once, but why does that mean that we can't get great, well thought out molds spread over time. There have only been 13 releases in 18 months. Of those 13, there are only 7 original molds, and six remold/repaints. We are waiting on 5 more Alts to be released between now and probably the end of the summer, only one of which is a new mold (Prowl).

 

If your argument is, "there has to be filler," I'd argue that at the current pace there is absolutely no room for filler. The repaints should provide enough of a buffer for each new mold to be top notch.

 

Now there is a chance that the line will expand and speed up, in which case the designs will probably suffer a little. I can live with that if we finally get a truck or two, and those planes/choppers, but otherwise I think it's unnaccetpable.

yes we should accept all new molds but dont need to be happy. HAStak only has responded w/ fans in mind. yes they do take a while to put out new waves and what not but like i also said before, we're spoiled. we see all these leaked proto's and pic's months in advance of final product.

as for "current pace" of release dates, i truly believe it HAS sped up in response to fandom demand. that is why we get the repaints/remolds. and prowl. wasnt the alt line supposed to target the collector. not only the tf but also the auto type. i know that some auto lines have those prolonged releases too. and for those coin collectors, doest the US mint release only 4 quarter types/year? not suggesting that hastak do 4/year but ya get my drift. its all about patience (grasshoppas)

 

 

 

these are not arguments but only opinions of mine and if anyone feels the need to argue then do so. but i shall express now that i am very contempt w/ "current state of alts"

true . true .... never really thought bout shockblast being a leader, or grim for that matter . i guess I would still rather see a big menacing leader. an "in scale" tank for a megs would be pretty big .

 

by the way, for some reason i see a sharkticon alt in the future... why i don't know, i just sense it.
