Well I know more about F-Bodys than you then lol :P

Granted the Impala was a typo. It should have read 1996. You're wrong about the 454 though. My 1988 Camaro has a 305 with the TBI injection system. The common upgrade is to run out and get a 454 TBI Unite off of a Suburban because it has larger injectors and bores than the 305 or 350 TBI units. The 454 was a fairly common engine because there are several of these TBI units to go around. Turbo City carries them. Then there's the fact my best friend owned one so that's proof a 454 was offered from Chevrolet in the late 80s.

I also know the LT-4 engines was extremely limited and that's why I chose that model. They are fast as hell. Want a fast LT-1? Buy the LT-4 heads and intake from GM along with their H.O.T. cam and the power will go through the roof.

Ok onto the 1992 Firehawk. Like I said only 12 were made. They sold for $50,000.00 and ran a 13.2 in the 1/4 mile. It had the T56 six speed but it was the Corvette version. The T56 in the Corvettes have a different gear ratio set up not to mention in 1992 it was the only T56 available. The purpose of the car was a factory race car plain and simple. That's why the cost was so high. To my knowledge it was the most limited F-body ever sold with the Hurst Trans-Am (late 90s, I can not recal the exact year) coming in 2nd. The engine is a "hybrid because of the intake design it used. It was the test bed for the LT-1 set up. Picture an LT-1 and take away it's entire intake. Now picture how the intake looks on the fox body mustangs. Picture that in a dual set up and you have a rough idea of the intake system. I want to say it was pushing 300 HP and 320 ft-lbs of torque from the factory. Needless to say it was faster than what Motortrend tested it at. There's some more proof. Motortrend actually tested the car in 1992.

Ok that should cover everything. Let me know if there's anything else.
