Mint in Package (MIP) Monday is celebrating the Transformers 20th Anniversary 1984-2004 with a look at both of the Hasbro Optimus Prime MasterPiece releases in the box. Following Takara's MP-1 Convoy, Hasbro rolled out two different versions with a 2004 metallic battle damaged colors (left) and a later 2006 Animated colors DVD Edition (right).

This is still my Masterpiece Prime. It had the right mix of original toy and animation accuracy with a touch of vehicular realism that matched the Binaltech/Alternators.
