One thing I don't like about Windcharger is that his windshield, in bot mode, is hanging off his butt. Is there anyway to turn it around like "Drag Strip"'s windshield is? It looks like the windshield and the hood are one piece, because "Drag Strip" has the windshield on right, but his hood is hanging off his butt instead. Can anyone say "Sideswipe"?

 

If there's anyone out there with a Windcharger, can you examine it and let me know if there's anything that can be done without slicing and dicing the figure? Thx.

The windshield/bonnet piece is on a pivot. You can rotate it around. And actually, the person who transformed "Dragstrip" transformed him wrong. The "official" transformation is for the windshield to be the lower end. Alot of people complained about how Sideswipe's bonnet hanged off his butt. I'm not sure if Hasbro fixed it because of the complains but they indeed fix it on Windcharger. I think the windshield hanging off the butt looks better than the bonnet hanging off the butt because from the front you can't really see anything hanging off the butt at all with the windshield as the lower end.

So does that mean that they are releasing a yellow Windcharger as the stunticon Dragstrip?

The way the instructions show is the best way to transform Windcharger. The hood can be placed flat against his back. I think he is the first Alternator that has the least amount of stuff hanging off of him or jutting out in robot mode.

they should have tried to get the windshield to sit flat against his back or something. If they can put it on a pivot, then they could at least do something with that scenario.

I'm just wondering if we can get the hood to lay flat against his back AND have the windshield angled up, as in the "Drag Strip" pics. I am totally against stuff hanging off of robots' butts.
