There is an article over at Silver Comics that confirms that Don Figuroa has signed an exclusive deal with DDP. Below is the link

hopefully this guy will continue the transformers art instead of the guy they have named. Don's my fav artist and the formers in the DDP joe vs. formers looked pretty lacking

I couldn't Disagrea more with you Soybean, me and a large number sof other fans can't stand Dreamwaves Style at all, eather Don goes baclk to his Macromasters Style, or :tfpuke

There are people who dont like dreamwave's art?! If it weren't for that I would have just passed the comics up just like I did the old Marvel comics.

Don's art was the best.

I perfure my Transforming Robots not to be over inflated, and put in ocuerd poses

:monkey

I'm sorry but after issue 10 which did justice to every badass bot...Here's you Don!

I liked the work of some of Dreamwave's artists, but I didn't like the Dreamwave "in-house style", which was forced upon all the artists, as in "all of you always remember to draw as much like Pat Lee as you can, even if your own style is actually a lot better".

Marvel Wildman? Great.

Dreamwave Wildman? Sigh.

i had no idea... seeing all the old g1 figures in a new comic blew me away... I guess after a while it would be nice to see the art style evolve and if it was true that pat forced the artist to draw like him.. then I might actually be happy that Dreamwave is gone.. but seeing a group actually make improvements to the g1 story and still stay true to what I remember and believe about g1 - I was "a kid again, in a giant candy store" and the feeling would be missed if Devil due washes all that away...

but I am just one fan.
