This Bumblebee is looking kind of "insect-like" with his big wings and shell on his back. Perhaps a Decepticon repaint of this mold could be one of the Insecticons... Shrapnel? VW Beetles look sweet in black, so maybe the color scheme could be black and purple with gold and silver highlights? Whaddya think?

not a bad idea. i like the idea of doing a decepticon beetle. maybe after i master doing this bumblebee i can do one of those. although i have plans on doing a alt. red alert next.

thats the best alternater ive seen, bashed or official id love onof those. hope the hastak version is half that good

Just promise me it won't be a lamborguini. No fire cheif shows up to a blazing inferno in his white and red lambo.

I love the way hes smaller tahn the other alts too. In keeping with his character!

How much would a Bumblebee cost one of us ordinary folk?

The work is nice, especially the arms. It's a very good head-sculpt too.

 

However, it does look a bit like a robot inside a round shell. I think that the old beetle would be a better choice for an Alt. Bumblebee. The new Beetle is dome-shaped, while the original is a bit more angular around the windows. The point being is that the actual windows could be incorporated into the robot mode, rather than having false one.

as far as a cost for one of the bumblebees i'm not sure yet, if i can get the design perfected then i could give you an idea. My initial idea was to have the car incorporated more into the robot but scale wise the car was too big. I liked tracks false chest and i felt it would keep in bumblebees design.
