yeah it's a line we have seen, but kinda like when Optimus Primal said it in Season 3, it's cool to see that the writer is doing some homework.

Did the original OP ever even say this line, outside of his tech specs? I can't remember a time he did, so it'll be nice to finally hear it from the horse's mouth(plate).

I'm hoping Megatron has his "I would've waited an eternity for this, Prime." line.

It could also be a line told from Alpha Trion to Optimus (sort of a passing of sagely advise).

 

But then again it COULD be a lot of things, so I guess theres no reason to waste time speculating.

 

Are other lines\pieces going to be released? Or is this a one time thing?

Well, one line in the script isn't enough to convince me if it will be a bad script or a good script.. but that one line does sound like Optimus Prime.. So I'm going to continue to be optimistic.

OOOooh, a couple of people had a little bit of comic political banter going on and for this guy IT'S A BIG DEAL.

 

Erm, no it wasn't, Greatshot. It was just a joke. It is still okay to make those. In fact, as an American, I'd hope you'd know that the right to do so is enshrined in your constitution.

Wouldn't be at all surprised to hear Megatron utter the line "Decepticons - retreat!!" at least ONCE during the movie!! :tflaugh1

Not huge news, but I asked Don Murphy on his board to give us a glimps of one of the lines in the movie, preferably spoken by one of the robots and he responded at the end of this post.

Edit: One might guess this is Optimus in a conversation with Megatron who perhaps might be trying to convince him of why he bothers defending humans, like in the first DW comic.

my guess is that he is saying to the hotrod/hotshot charecter... I mean, it not like all the autobots would instantly like getting shot up to protect meatbags

Lets see:

A. "this guy" is a Moderator who is trying to keep the thread from spiraling into political insult mongering like several other threads with "joke" comments like that have. It might be funny to you (hell, *I* find such stuff amusing), but eventually someone will decide to take offense and insult your party and it's all downhill from there.

 

B. The American Constitution is meaningless on an internet forum, which is fully entitled to make it's own rules. If they say "Don't discuss this", well... that's tough crap for you (though with TFans in particular, political comments aren't verboten here, they're not really appropros either). :nuts

 

You want to become hostile about such a request, by all means, go for it. I personally would rather see the topic stay on subject and not get locked for going into a hostile political tangent.
