Digibash Grimlock -> Mirage

Recommended Posts

hey fellas

been lurking here for a while, figured i should go ahead and register

i saw this 05 mustang on another website's SEMA coverage, its been modified by H&R springs with alot of custom fabricated goodies and it looks like it could be a great ALT Mirage.

i whipped up a digibash as well :tfgrin

maybe someone who actually has access to an ALT grimlock (and some decent painting/bashing skills) could give this one a whirl.

edit: face doesnt look that great but hey, you get the idea :thumb

Looks good and all, but it just doesn't give me a Mirage feel.

a different head, the front chin spoiler and the rear carbon spoiler might help that

if someone could custom fab them out of styrene that would be impressive

edit: also, different coloring for the arms, legs and hip area could make a difference, i just went with my gut and did it black/silverish grey

That's great, Change is good.

Welcome aboard.

that looks nice, but not for mirage... to bulky... but that does looks sharp.

as soon as ALT grims hit my area, i think ill give this one a shot

i know its not slim and trim looking like mirage was but the ALT line has proven that nothing is set in stone and that car has one hot paint job :)

Although I like the colors (and the digipaint) I also have some problems accepting this as Mirage.

could you guys who dont 'accept' it as mirage give some suggestions that could sway your opinion if this repaint was tackled?

perhaps some modification to the mold? or additions to the mold? id like to do this but i want it to be believable as mirage.

thanks!

That Mirage Kicks A$$!!!
