Alternators Combiners Hands

Recommended Posts

So I'm still stuck on seeing an Alternators Combiner in the form of Menasor (or an Autobot equivalent using cars). I've managed to make Sideswipe and Smokescreen interchangeable as both a decent arm and leg.

All the arms are missing ('sides being able to connect to a main torso) is the hands. Is there a figure out there with alternator quality hands that are on the same scale as an alt. combiner? I'm thinking a figure the size of E. Scorponok or bigger, but I don't know for sure.

Engine weapons could be replaced by engines that "transform" into detachable hands.... but where would they go in 'bot mode? An Alternator combiner's hands then would have to be fully integrated into the original bot mode. Sideswipe's feet could be divided lengthwise and become fingers, or something along those lines. Almost like a triple-changer, 'cept it's an arm or a leg instead of another vehicle mode.

If anyone's got ideas, lemme have 'em. And none of that "It can't be done! This is folly!" attitude... We can't stop now!

How about Optimal Optimus? I can't recall the scale now, but its possible.

My son hasOptimal Optimus and yes they would be about the right size. My question for you is how are you going to connect the body parts to the main torso? Also what are you going to use for the torso?

Also Unicron has correct scaled hands that are pretty movable> :ab

I'd say Unicron or OpOp. I know recently people have found knock-off OpOps in their Biglots stores. That might be a good way to grab a pair of hands for cheap.

The KO OpOp's are only half size.

So far only the 20th Anniversary Prime looks good for an Alternator combiner torso. Armor attachments or creative remolding could provide hip and shoulder sockets and attachment points.
