Fisrt of all quik question why do you want to remove the wheels? As far as removing the head: Just unscrew the head and put a small flat tip screwdriver in the small opening in the back of the head press gentily while holding the sides of the head tis will alow you to separate the face from the rest of the head as that is how the head is connected on Sideswipe. It`s a little tricky so you might have to frig with it alittle bit but once you have the screw out the head it is able to be worked apart. Now removing the hands: take the same flat tip screw driver and pry it behind the hands ball joint down by the hands and they`ll just pop out BE CAREFUL NOT TO DAMAGE THE BALL JOINTS! Now back to the wheels if you wanted to know how to remove them so you can paint behind them there is no need for that simply remove the tire, tape the rim off so you don`t paint it (infact tape off everything you don`t want to paint). Now if you have other rims in mind you need to cut away the rim and pull the peg/ nail out of the shoulder. Drill a hole in the new rim and nail it to the body. You can also use small screws to replace the nail if you want or if it has a two part rim assembly you may need to cut the post that the nail/screw goes into down alittle bit. Hope this helps. By the way the color red is testors dark red gloss enamel spray paint I suggest a primer of gray so you won`t have to use so many coats. The orange is testors gloss enamel competion Orange spray paint again grey primer suggested. Good luck.
