Well the armada remolds don't look bad, thats all I'm going to say. The colors on nitro do make nitro look like a girl, fast aid looks cool as all h3ll, and I wouldn't mind having those armada molds either.

This looks like a really good year for collecting Transformers. Red alert is amust buy, as is Nitro Convoy, and Inch up. I'm unsure of the rest though, will need to see more pictures before making a decision. It's nice to also see Hasbro/Takara did something new with the Armada repaints intstead of releasing the same toy with different colours as did with Energon. With new head molds for Blurr, Runabout, Longhorn, and Buzz Saw, and an activation chip replacing the minicon and triger activated weapons I may actually buy repaints this time around. I avoided most of the Energon repaints cept Unicron like the plague this past year. With Hasbro/Takara making all these alterations for a change does anybody know for sure if these Armada based characters will be in the show? Holy crap!!!!! I just took a closer look of the photos and noticed Hasbro/Takara decidedly removed the acursed Decepticon insignia from Inchup's windshield!!!! Now I'm buying him for sure. :clap

nitro p: looks decent, but still an auto-former - pass

 

first aid: not bad at all. really feelin the emergency magnum - gettin!

 

skids: when's the last time you saw a drop TF outside alts? i hope this fig is characterized like G1 hot rod, as that's who he reminds me of - gettin!

 

autorunner: GF's very own rattrap - gettin! dont see the lil maximal? *peep pic at bottom

 

inchup: like monster trucks and the color scheme is unique - gettin!

blurr: the motormouth of G1 returns! looks pretty good for a slight remold. i hope i'm not seeing this wrong, but is that leg articulation in the pic? if it is, then definitely - gettin! otherwise - pass

 

buzzsaw: not feelin. i cant make out what his gimmick is, but it doesnt really matter. his colors are ugh to me (so was the the BW counterpart's) - PASS!

 

longrack(not horn): that's a very fittin non-animal form for this character. nice hastak! the color scheme works well on him too - gettin!

 

runabout: that alt mode is the tightest it's ever been! however, the arms still look bad and there appears to be no leg articulation for this fig still - pass!

 

recap, not bad as a whole. i like how they've brought back some obscure characters, mostly, in a decent fashion :clap. i just hope that the remolds arent sold as 2 packs (though they prolly are :redface). this line just keeps gettin better! :thumb

those are awsome. N convoy looks sweet but i'll wait for the us ver on him fast aid :drool I must have him. are skids and autogunner re-tools or new molds I cant really tell. I'm still not really a fan of inch up's color scheme but I'll probabley buy him anyway. lets blurr YAY :clap they made him the way he should have been. I'd be happyer if buzzsaw were colored up more like waspinator. I could really care less of longrack, but damn ransack its tight as hell.

Are we sure that these retools are going to be GF, and not robot masters?

Nitro: That HAS to be a female. Unless Hasbro recolors it, I'm not touching it.

 

FirstAid/Skids/Autorunner/Inchup--lookin' like good buys to me. Probably will get 'em all.

I apologize if it's been discussed, has the show given any explanation why there's toys that look a heck of a lot like prior guys in altmode, but have different names now? They kept Hotshot consistent between Micron and Superlink, but now there's Excelion...and looks like Skids is a much better upgrade of SL Prowl's car mode.

 

But gah. Why Armada retools? Why not Energon retools? I don't mind Blurr, but the other three molds are barely worth a redux, especially a fourth(?) repaint of Cyclonus (although I think he has REAL skids finally). I would've chosen someone like Wheeljack instead.

"Longrack" is correct. As for "Autorunner" - according to e-Hobby, it's "Autoroader" (written in Japanese). Though it's odd that everyone keeps inserting an "n" into his name...

W :eek W for Blurr! If his head looks good enough, he's mine. You know, this strikes me as being an awful lot like those G1-styled Energon remolds we saw a while back (Brawn, Devcon, etc), which I'm taking as a good sign. With any luck we might just wind up getting some of those. I'd be especially interested in that E-Swindle remold I saw in the GF catalogue a while back.

 

EDIT: And as for Fastaid, I've been looking forward to him from the very beginning. It's about time a decent character like Red alert gets a mold that does him justice!

Nitro Prime: if thats suppost to be a chick...she is the new stryka...shes way to "muscular"

 

first aid: Loving it! loved the armada version and loving this one as well, just wish he was bigger then a deluxe :(

 

skids: to small to realy give an opinion one right now...but looks kinda cool

 

autorunner: same as skids...

 

inchup: way to much purple :(

 

blurr: love it! its perfect!

 

buzzsaw: also perfect! i love the idea of bringing this character back :D

 

longhorn: yet another masterpiece in my eyes. i loved this mold everytime it came out before, and im sure i will again :D

 

runabout: hate the mold, hate the look, but ill get it just cause it its part of a 2 pack
