by "pulled the license," I meant just what you said: that Hasbro has no intention of continuing business with the Lees/Dreamwave/Dreamengine and will take their business elsewhere.

Also got to understand Hasbro pulled the license, so it's seems very unlikely that DE will continue. (I wouldn't allow them if I were Hasbro.)

 

There's going to be a new publisher and we can only hope they will continue with the story arcs left by DW. I liked those stories and would really hate it if a new publisher start anew all over.

 

Should this happen, then I sincerely hope someone will contact the old writers and ask them what direction they had planned for their stories.

I just hope they keep the same designs. I mean after G! volume 1 came out, every TF artist tried to mimic their way of drawing them. A stepping stone or something. I really dont know how they'll ever go back to marvel G1 forms where they have little pose but a good story.

yeah, like an official ending to the G2 story. Sure, we have Alignment, but I can't find it anywhere. And even Furman doesn't consider it official but rather thinks of it as a glorified fanfic. Or they could just scrap the G2 story altogether and pick up where G1 #80 left off.

I am really sadden about these events :tdown because I may never see the end of theses stories, especially WW. :tfsad I was also looking for issue #11 of the G1 Ongoing because fo the Fembots. Not to mention the TPB for Armada, G1: War and Peace and the MTMTE G1 Profiles.

 

Even if the license is taken by another company, it will not be the same and I grew attached to the DW Universe. And I don't know if I will buy it because, on top of that, I have to save for a new PC. :fire
