We previously reported on the old BotCon site showing signs of life, this was no mistake as today we have news from the official site that they are planning to bring back the show next year, in 2021. What's not clear is who is running it, and where it will be. Far as we can tell, this will not appear be an official Hasbro show as before.

It appears the first thing we will see from BotCon, that has returned as an unofficial event run by BC productions, will be a new book that documents the more than 180 exclusives that were produced for the many conventions over 22 years from 1994 to 2016. "BotCon - Beyond The Convention: The Ultimate Product Guide Volume 1" is a pre-release exclusive edition book to be offering in a limited edition of 300 as part of the BotCon Pre-Party Registration package for RoboCon 2020.
