Our old friend Richard Mistron (VicegripX) has posted a tweet with sighting of the Transformers Earthrise Wave 1 Deluxe Wheeljack, Ironworks Sighted at Target in Target in Tacoma, WA. Have you seen the Transformers Earthrise Wave 1 Deluxe toys? Share you sightings in the comment below for others to see.

The only time I ever desire to live on the west coast is when new toys are coming in. Damn geography. Oh anyway, if I understood his followup tweets correctly, he actually found the entire first wave, not just Wheeljack and Ironworks. That photo shows what's left after he bought his own set of four.

I wish stuff was as available as it seems. Not finding anything yet.

After this report made the rounds earlier, someone else said that they had found the Deluxes at Target somewhere in Seattle a couple hours before Vicegrip shared his Tacoma sighting. I don't know how distribution tends to go in your area, but hopefully these will spread out reasonably quickly. I would just like them to also move east as much as south from where they are right now.

The latest Wave 1 sightings come from Mesa, Arizona via Ebay seller, gorillaspecialties, who has put up the Transformers Generations War for Cybertron Earthrise leader and deluxe class figures for sale including the leaders Optimus Prime and Astrotrain, along with a selection of deluxes: Cliffjumper, Wheeljack, Hoist and Ironworks. Check out the "IN STOCK" listings now while they last at the following link on Ebay.com

It's probably worth clarifying that this ebay seller is a store operation themselves and almost certainly got these figures through distributor channels, so it doesn't actually indicate the toys have become available in Arizona yet.

Indeed, something ain't right. I wonder if they are a retailer at all because they don't have micros, battles, voyagers and some of the deluxe figs. VERY strange an Ebay seller can get that much stock before everyone else. Same thing happened with SIEGE Wave 1. A few Ebay sellers had stockpiles when no retailer had any.

If they're getting it through Diamond, that would not be inconsistent with how Siege went right at the beginning. Either way, that Arizona seller had something like 20 of each Deluxe when the listings you shared first went live, so that can't be anything other than direct distribution of some color.

I've been watching the ebay listings since then. Results of different sorts have turned up for Florida, Wisconsin and... Chicago, I think. At least one of those is definitely an online storefront and so is expempted from patterning, but the others might be sourced at retail, going by the low quantity and high prices from those sellers.

Agreed. If it was Diamond there could be dozens of others. It could be they are a retail employee, or scalper who is getting it all first. Just a hunch based on the listings for other retail items as well and considering three Targets are so close together in Mesa, it is possible.
