Banner for a layout I'm working on...

Recommended Posts

Just a small project I've been thinking about doing. Tell me what you think:

I tried to do something pretty diffrent. The greys will contenue down to make the body and sidebar of the layout. Oh, also.. the black news highlight thing will be a vertical marquee.

I wipped up a quick look at what the layout would look like with sidebars, body, and all too:

Very nice. It fits the whole SuperLink/Cybertron thing really well.

I don't like how Convoy's shoulders are behind the frame. It is understandable that his feet are, but it would look better if he were coming out of the frame instead. Otherwise it is like he is just in a picture on the wall or that frame is a window or something.

I had to do that.. That's how big the picture was of him. >_<

SFC -- Thanks! I thought it did too. The whole layout sort of reminds me of a Force Chip now for some reason. XD

I like it, but to get techincal for a moment, how are you going to anchor the design to the right side of the browser window?? Is this a fixed position layout, or will it resize with the browser window?

I did the HTML for it last night. I made a table to go around everything with a width and height of 100% and aligned ir right so everything in that table would go right.

Then I made a table for the actual layout, so now the layout goes to the very most right of the page.

It's a fixed size. Body is 502, sidebar is 208. :)
