JackKnife

looks pretty cool... but I always thought spacy was a girl robot... just the way i took it...

does the camera have a timer function... set it on some books, set the timer and wait till it takes a pic to move it.... might help in clarity.

No timer function. and yes, spay-c was a girl. This was super gobots spay-c, and before spay-c was established as a girl. at any rate, i thought the design was cool, but needed some improvements, like poseablility and a new head. thus began JackKnife.

for several of the shots, i had the camera on some books. but it still kept fuzzing the picture up. Really bugged me, after I busted my butt to get access to one!

Fuzzy pictures or not, there still good.

thanks, taz-bot. :)

From what I can tell it looks very cool. Seems like you and I BOTH need some better quality cameras.

Did you do much customizing on the model? or is it strictly repaint?

  • Author

extreme customizing and repainting, almost to the point of scratchbuilding.

JackKnife was built from the following:

AirFix 1:100 scale shuttle orbiter model(wings, cockpit, shield, doord/arm armor, tail assembly)

G2 Hero Megatron(upper torso, arms.)

G2 Laser Optimus (waist, legs)

BanDai 1/100 Wing Gundam (hands, rear waist, wing joints, gun handle, parts of head)

G1 Action Master Snarl (rear of head glued into Wing Gundam's head)

Beast Wars Cheetor (3rd version, forehead sensor.)

If you look at my collection pics in the toy forum you can tell I learned how to steady the camera. I just make sure I have something solid to put my elbows on when taking a picture.

didn't have that. just a small counter, JackKnife, and the camera. Next time, I'll get it right.

So, now it's absolutely clear: you're great at kitbashing, but not very good at taking pics.

Nevertheless, extremely good kitbash :thumb

Thats a Lot of Parts for One 'Bash. Though I'm sure the Donors live On Inside 'JACKKNIFE' and your other Creations.

Its because You do such great work that Everyone gets Critical... We NEED to see your art. Must be Patient....
