I just picked up divebomb and I must say I really like him. He is EXCELLENT for a toy of his price point. I may even have to get one or two more.

It's mostly the colour and that sort of chunky spacesuit vibe. I'm not saying they're identical twins, it's more impressionistic.

Well, three days later and Divebomb still owns me.

 

I've been verrry picky about Energon and will continue to be but I'm glad I got this one.

Not enough depth to support a peg? Not quite sure what you mean... my Divebomb has no trouble holding things in his 'hands.' In fact... only problem i have with him is that in Bot mode one of his shoulders lays a little higher than the other. Shouldn't be a problem at all... except it bothers teh heck out of me!!!

AWESOME figure tho, I might just get a few more...here's hoping this becomes the next BM Jetstorm in that it'll get repainted over and over again

Is Divebomb due for a repaint at some point?

Well for Super Link, Takara is goig to be doing a recolor for Divebomb/Shadowhawk called "Shadowhawk Marine-Type", in the similar fashion as Command Jaguar Desert-Type. The colors that seem to be planned are light blue and royal blue.

 

As for Hasbro, nothing yet planned for Energon, but more than likely it will happen.

Finally got my Divbomb yesterday. . . . Woo! He's every bit as much fun as I thought he'd be. I don't remember the last Transformer to have such an awesome robot mode, AND have an equally awesome alt mode.
