Who is the best Maximal? Name one guys.

I'm going with Rattrap. I found him to be quite humorous, yet at the same time he always came through when he was needed.

primal

cuz he wuz the shizzzzzzzzznit

I say Dinobot. He was a strong, proud warrior with a sense of honour. He also pwned the Preds in Code of Hero.

Rhinox --- He's smart, tough, strong, and the "go-to guy" of the Maximals. Plus he's reliable and has a cool pair o' guns. And I have a soft spot for the larger guys in groups.

I like Primal. Hes just too cool not to like. In fact I think he's a role-model for my generation.

Close between Rattrap and Rhinox, but I went with Rhinox. Strong and smart, with a hidden dark side. Great all around.

I, too, had to choose between rattrap and rhinox.

I went with rattrap based on the fact that he was MY fave pick when BW progressed back in the day. Only now, having YTV re-airing BW, that I have seen Rhinox "shine" amongst all the Maximals.

my 1-2-3

1 rattrap

2 rhinox

3 primal

Rattrap, because of his season 1 beast mode and that he's comical...

but if i were to ignore that, Dinobot would actually be my favourite maximal, since he pwn3d all the preds and sacrifice his own life to save the future...

Dinobot is technically not a maximal, so that made it possible to choose.

I went for Primal.

From the very first episode (okay, actually the second, cos I missed the first episode when it first aired) it was clear to me that Optimus Primal was exactly the kind of leader I always wanted in Transformers:

- Noble, but willing to do things the hard way

- forced in a battle he doesn't want to fight,

- inexperienced, but with a talent for leadership,

- a bit too impulsive at times and not thinking strategies completely through,

- he was willing to talk about things instead of ordering them around.

- he wasn't awed upon by his followers (like his predessor); actually among his troops there were popular character who thought Primal wasn't the best -- without offering themselves up for leadership (Rattrap)

Furthermore, he could fly (which I think the leader of the good guys should be able to do).

I liked just about everything about Primal. As discussed in a previous thread, Primal was everything that Rodimus Prime should have been.
