You know what these guys are missing? That's right Takara, their frickin leader!! Why Takara has taken so long and still not announced or released a new MP Megatron is beyond me.
I would have thought with the teasers for the 3rd party Apollyon (ie. no-Megatron) MP scaled figure, that this would have been the kick up the arse Takara needed. But still silence from them!!
I will just have to keep on waiting I guess.....

For the individual bots, I'd say the Hasbro and Takara versions are pretty much on par except for Silverbolt where I do prefer the Takara.

But in combined mode, there is no question at all that the Takara is the better option. Looks bloody nice!!

Stay tuned for full video comparison uploading now on the YouTube channel! :)

Here's my quick look at the Combiner Wars Legends Rodimus. Another repaint that could've been better, but overall not too bad a little figure.

Here's my look at the Art Storm ES Gokin diecast Optimus Prime figure. Awesome build quality for such a little guy, and great accessories!

Here's my look at the Transformers Platinum Editon reissue of Perceptor and Blaster and his minions. Not bad overall, but it's pretty clear why original G1 is still so sought after amongst collectors - the quality is still better than reissues even after 30 years!! Hope you can check out the vid :)
