Killer as usual!

nice one VP- but you need to add some black paint to the front grill- it looks like the vents are non-functional.

Well done ... the bot mode suit soundwave more than the Swindle.

thats sweet :thumb

That's very cool, I never would have thought to use that mold for soundwave, but it works amazingly well. Only thing I would change is painting in the front grill bits either black or yellow/gold. The launcher idea is golden, I love it.

Thats awesome! Wasnt expecting that mold but it looks great. Its cooler than swindle. I love the cannons in jeep mode. Good stuff. Your goinng to have to take side by side pics of all those Custom Decepticons versus the Autobots.

That's an awesome job VP  :thumb . Although I would like to see a Soundwave made out of the Mustang mold with a show accurate head instead of a toy accurate head. Awesome kitbash none the less.

I chose the Hound mold for a few reasons. First its the most boxy looking of all the Alts which fits Soundwave well. 2nd it was the only Alternator that I can actually incorporate the 2 cannons in the alt (car) mode and have it still look decent. Any other alt mode I would probably have ended up leaving the cannons out. And lastly and probably most important reason is I somehow ended up with an extra Hound and didn't know what to do with it, lol. As for the head, I actually don't recall how the cartoon head looks like. I have a G1 Soundwave so I sculpted the head based off of that.

Hey! That's pretty cool man.

Going to submit it to TT?

Anyhoo, you know, I might have an extra E.Soundwave head repro if youwould like to use it.

Just let me know! thumbsup1.gif

Yes, will submit it to TT later tonight. Thanks for the offer on the E. Soundwave head. Though the head you made is better than the one I did, I'm pretty satisfied with mine (considering its only my 2nd sculpting attempt, the 1st being Wheeljack and you know how bad that was, lol).

Just out of curiousity, did you consider using Swindles chrome bar painted gold to make it look that extra bit Soundwave like??

No, never considered it though it may make it look better. I don't have Swindle at the moment though.

Yes, I actually forgot to go back and paint the grill lines black. Forgot to also unmask the front lights when I took the bot mode pics, lol. I did realize it afterwards and it was unmasked when I took the alt mode pics.

That's a dream come true for me. I love Jeeps, this is how a Alternator Soundwave should look like. :drool :thumb
