I'd just like to point out it is very difficult to differentiate the reissue from the original ones with metal. The date stamps on the reissues say Hasbro 1988.

 

The resolution on my digital camera couldn't snap the picture of the date stamps but maybe someone else will.

quick, look for an ebay auction for the orignal packaging of the 1988 version and SELL SELL SELL. before other ppls realize this and the price of hte originals goes to crap. kidding

You could trick people, just make them think it's never been open and you get tons of money. :mwahaha

well i can get a bootleg 1 for 10 bucks

It's more of a warning for any G1 purist that they have to be careful. Judging from the posts here, very careful.

Attually the Predaking reissue on mine say Hasbro Takara 1986 on the print rights on the figures.
