Never visit the Bijenkorf as the store is not in a city near me.

 

The stores in my town do not have too much Energon Transformers. They did have Arcee which is rather cool. But no mega's or ultra's.

 

I always buy the new Transformers in the US because it is so much faster (do not have to wait months) and affordable. I paid 34 Euro for Bulkhead when he was just released. :tfgrin

 

But if you want a good deal visit the Bart Smit. I was there during lunchbreak and they sold Armada Max-cons which included a Mini-Con team. I saw Rhinox with the Air Military Team, Terrorsaur and the Sea Team and Hoist with the Emergency Team.

 

And they only cost 10 Euro! :clap I got Rhinox and Terrorsaur (already own Hoist) even though I already own the Beast Wars versions.

 

Now that is a sweet deal. :thumb

Can anyone living near a Dutch TRU (other than the one in Groningen) get confirmation on this? I'm kinda worried about this latest development.

I've been thinking, with the exception of the gestalts, I think we've had all original versions of each mold (except Cliffjumper, Bulkhead & Shockblast). Could that be a reason? Hasbro NL not interested in releasing repaints?

 

Can any Dutch fan name a a repaint which was releashed alongside the original mold? We've had the RiD spychangers and PL Prime (which is in an American box) and Armada Skywarp which was dumped and slightly different from Starscream.

easy money, Armada Megatron and Armada Galvatron....oh, and let`s not forget Armada Jetfire and Powerlinx Jetfire....and thank you Hasbro, you`re giving me more reasons to marry my fiancee and get my tailend to australia.

Forgot about Armada Galvatron, but Jetfire... Have only seen the regular once at Bart Smit and have never seen the powerlinx version.

 

 

The point I was trying to make was: we don't get that many repaints over here.

Energon Tidalwave, Threadbolt/shot/whatever that repaint of that green Armada-construction-vehicle is. >_<

 

Technically, all the Armada Beasts are Repaints as well. And Various Minicon-sets were repints, and released here.

 

I really REALLY hope the Combiners still come over to NL.

Tidalwave, Scavenger/Treadbolt and the Minicons were released in two different lines: Armada & Energon. The same goes for the Armada beasts, although I don't remember seeing any of those in stores during Beastwars (but I'll admit I wasn't really looking at the time).

 

Within the same line, there aren't that many repaints:

- Armada Megatron & Galvatron,

- Armada Prime & PL Prime (the latter in a US box -- minimizing Hasbro NL's costs & dumped)

- Armada Jetfire & PL Jetfire (have only seen the first once and never the PL version)

- The RiD Spychangers (I'm saying this but can't really think of repaints available)

- Armada Starscream & Skywarp (latter was dumped and a mold adaption)

 

Compare this to the American market where almost every fig is released in at least two colorschemes.

 

- None of the other RiD repaints were available: only one version megatron and only one version of the Autobot brothers.

- In Armada almost every fig was released in two colorschemes

- so far no repaints of mold previously released in Energon

 

(Of course, we only get a fraction of the figs they get in the USA, so that might have something to do with it.)

We did not get all of the original Energon molds, I forgot who said it, but it's not true. (Shame on you! Shun!) There is no Omega Supreme, Sharkticon or Slugsliner on top of the great scarce in Mega & beyond. Hardly any Scopy's, landmine's NO Jetfire, Cliffjumper of Shockblast. And if it's not a stink up in the computersystems of TRU, do not count on any combiners.

 

And in Armada's defense... I LOVE GALVATRON. I'm marrying him. Oh yeah, Thundercracker WAS released in Holland. very limited though...

Jetfire was released here.... I had him in my hands... TRU Groningen again.

My bad on the Jetfires. The shame is on me then.
